I recently downloaded the new launcher and tried to use your 1.6.2 resource pack but it just goes straight back to the default resource pack. I've seen other posts on here with the same problem but it doesn't make sense. I can use other 128x128 resource packs and they load fine. Also, on the old launcher I used your texture pack and it worked fine. I really do enjoy using your resource/texture packs and I hope that the new launcher hasn't screwed it up for me. If someone wouldn't mind, could you please explain to me what's happening and if I can fix it.

PC Info:

Manufacturer: Dell
Model: Dell Inspiron 1545

System Type: x64-based PC
Total Physical Memory: 3.96 GB
Available Physical Memory: 2.13 GB
Total Virtual Memory: 2.13 GB
Available Virtual Memory: 5.47 GB

I hope that this is enough information. If you need any more, just say so.

Thank you for reading this and helping (If you do).

Your problem is your available physical memory and virtual memory.

If you use MCPatcher or Optifine with Connected Textures, PureBDcraft can be heavier than other texture packs because it has a lot more features an textures.
If you can use some other 128x texturepacks, you can try using PureBDcraft with disabled CTM (don't install it in MCPatcher, disable it in Iptifine or delete the "assets/minecraft/mcpatcher/ctm/clay" folder or the whole "ctml" folder ;)

Sorry to bother you but when you have the time, would you mind giving me directions on disabling CTM? I use Optifine.

Open MC > Options > Video Settings > Quality > Connected Textures = "Off".

Ah, I actually had it off. I guess I'm just going to need to get a better computer because it's still not working. Thank you guys for the help. I appreciate you guys being so dedicated to helping people out.

Actually I found another way to fix it. I just went into the resource pack and deleted the mcpatcher folder. Since I'm not using it, I figured I don't need it.

Yeah, never use both OptiFine AND MCPacher.

It causes problems with every texture pack.

They never said they were using MCPatcher.

The mcpatcher folder in the resourcepack holds all the extra stuff such as CTM, RandomMobs and the BetterSkies.

Anyway, OP said they'd solved it as they required so... *locked*
