Hey,

I started playing FTB Ultimate Reloaded again and have a problem with loading the addon for it. I read the guide on it and tried both methods, the old and the new one (putting the Addon directly in the Texture Pack Archive and activate the normal Texturepack first and then the addon). With the old method the Texture pack is shown as loaded but the game keeps the vanilla textures.
With the new Method loading the normal texture pack works but when I add the Addon it loads for a while and then both packs are deactivated and im back to vanilla. Texture packs are both x128 and I tried Ram from 8 - 16 Gigabytes, restarting doesnt help aswell.

This is the addon im trying to use: releases-for-packs-f10/ftb-ultimate-reloaded-t6901.html
Texturepack is the standard java x128 pack.

Kind Regards

PS: I couldnt find anything in the forums, neither in posts nor in the pinned guides.

If with the first method nothing changes, you've probably merged the packs incorrectly. A screenshot of the contents of combined zip would help.

Here are Screenshots of the assets folder contents and the root of the archive. But isnt the old method not working for newer versions anyway?

You made a rar instead of a zip. Minecraft can only read zips. You need to remake the archive as a zip (don't just rename it).

Merging will still work fine as long as your computer can handle it technically.

I also did it as a zip before, same problem

Same problem as it doesn't change in-game or Minecraft can't see it? There's no reason Minecraft can't see it if it's done properly.

I think the simpler solution here is to try 64x textures intead.
