Feedback on my first texture

I have repurposed a coal block to a Aluminium Nature Arise Mod, This is my first thing I've done (texture pack wise) so i am looking for feedback, this will motivate me to do the rest of the mod.

Are you just trying get feedback on how the texture looks in general, or are you asking if it looks good as Aluminium Ore?

I think that ore exists already in modpacks, albeit in the old "flat" style.

If you're trying to "modernise" (the more gem-like) the ore graphics for mod ores you might want to talk to PlatinumPunch so everything can be made to look similar across mods.
