Updating Java couldn't hurt! I like having development kit installed too, but maybe that is just a placebo?

i've tried but since i'm on linux and i'm using flatpak prism launcher i think update java to a version between 8 and 17 is kind of an headache, i will try different things, and i will try updating java as a last resort

edit: i should mention i have the jdk installed
