New buyer questions

I loved using BDcraft on console, an wanted to ask a few questions before buying it for my now heavily modded PC Minecraft v1.20.1 java mincraft game.

#1 - Is Oculus ok for running shaders is compatible with the PureBDcraft for v1.20.1 java minecraft? Have to ask, as I have a few mods that are not compatible with Optifine. Plus I seem to have a harder time running Optifine compared to Oculus.

#2 - Does the shaders water still look 3d and like realistic water with the texture pack on? Or does it revert it to the stock flat minecraft water even when the shader is on?
Gotta ask, as I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will retexture the world, but leave the water as the more realistic looking water.
