Here's a 64x version of Llama Farmer's repository, ready to plug & play in your resource pack---includes all of the textures in this thread, plus a few I could extrapolate from existing ones (e.g. the glider wing & item, little things like that):

What's with the lines cutting through the middle of each of the slots? I noticed them in my game, too. Is that something to do with a misalignment of the textures?

It's meant to suggest the wood panelling effect, but I guess the idea is a little bit lost when you strip the entire background out.Eunomiac wrote:snip

The background colour is taken from 1 pixel in the standard GUI so 4x4 in this one. There is no way to get the planks into the GUI. I tried multiply different ways to get in to work but that's the best I could come up with.
The item slots are again based on one thing and repeated several times. I based it on a sign texture modified to fit. If anyone else wants to try and make something else then feel free. I only put this out there because the standard GUI was annoying me.
