The Lord of the Rings Mod basically does exactly what you would expect it to do; it adds J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy world to Minecraft. Races varying from evil orcs, uruks and trolls to pure-hearted elves, hobbits and gondorians, all coming with their own biomes, structures, items and blocks. All of this amazingness is contained in the exclusive Lord of the Rings dimension, ready to be travelled trough.
Only one question is left; whose side are you on?

Show5-9-2014: UPDATE
- added Beta 20 patch (no different than Beta 17 yet but for the sake of keeping future update clean)
- removed Beta 16 since that version of LOTR can no long be downloaded.
26-04-2014: Be descriptive!
- added mod description
20-04-2014: I now own the thread!
This won't change much, plowmanplow just wasn't really into this anymore.
- removed the Beta 11 patch since the Beta 14 patch should work fine with the older versions.
- Instead, I added an updated version for Beta 16, which is for 1.7.2. The reason for this is that some names changed and also the Alignment bar's format is different.
- added a 64x patch for both versions, which is actually as up-to-date as the others are.
- altered the topic name, because it didn't mention that the patch is also 128x.
- added the 'credits' section.
From PlowmanPlow:
14-02-2014 : Integrated textures from noopynolife (sweet) and scaled them to 64x. For most of the textures from noopynolife I chose his textures over the ones I previously had. Many of my previous textures are still there as "alts".
10-02-2014 : Initial collection of textures
