Wont show up

I have tried numerous times to download sphax pureBDcraft X128 and when i go through all of the steps required to use the resource pack, it does not give me the option, in minecraft, to select it and play with it. PLZ Help

We're not mind-readers, you need to be a bit more descriptive than that.

What have you tried to get it to work? What version of Minecraft are you using? What version of the resourcepack are you using?

I am using client version 1.7.9 minecraft, the version of sphax i am using is the 1.7.4. I have optifine on minecraft, i have moved the resource pack .zip file into the resource pack folder in the .minecraft , i have done everything the installation tutorials have said to on how to install resource packs

That would suggest your download is corrupt. If you open the zip is there anything in it?

Yes. there are three things, a folder, assets, a text document,pack.mcmeta and a texture i think called pack.png. Does it matter if i have winrar archiver?

Doesn't matter what archiver you use and that looks correct for the file structure.

If you open up MC and click the button that says "Open Resourcepacks folder" does the zip appear in the folder that opens? If not move the zip to that folder.

How odd. Well the only thing left is to make a folder in the resourcepacks folder called something like "sphax" and then drag/drop the contents of the zip in to it. Restart Minecraft to be safe and it should show up.

If that doesn't work there's something odd with your Minecraft installation or somewhere you're doing something wrong.

the .zip is called Sphax PureBDcraft 128x MC18. and do i take the contents of the zip and put that into the resource pack folder?

It's odd that you said you downloaded the pack for MC1.7.4, but you've obviously got the one for MC1.8 (the snapshots). Not that it matters, but it's hard to help someone who's not giving the right information.

Regardless, make a folder in the resourcepacks folder called "sphax" and then place the contents of the zip in to that "sphax" folder.
