My arguments are
-Xmx3072m -Xms256m -XX:PermSize=256m -Dminecraft.applet.TargetDirectory="D:\FTB\Minecraft\Instances\FTB Infinity" -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalPacing -XX:ParallelGCThreads=6 -XX:+AggressiveOpts -XX:NewRatio=3 -XX:SurvivorRatio=3 -XX:TargetSurvivorRatio=80 -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=8 -XX:+UseParNewGC -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=10 -XX:GCPauseIntervalMillis=50 -XX:MaxGCMinorPauseMillis=7 -XX:+ExplicitGCInvokesConcurrent -XX:+UseCMSInitiatingOccupancyOnly -XX:CMSInitiatingOccupancyFraction=60 -XX:+BindGCTaskThreadsToCPUs -Xnoclassgc
I suppose I can change the size to 512. Couldn't hurt. Shall I change the -Xms to 512, as well?

Shouldn't do any harm. Give it a go. Bring the Xmx higher. That's your total allocation. With your amount of memory go up to 8192m. That will allocate 8GB.

It doesn't even reach the 3GB. It lags, I give it resources and it doesn't use them... This is frustrating.

Switch over to the ftb launcher as opposed to curse. I use ftb for Infinity. Then you can just use a slider to allocate memory. Getting late for me now so good luck.

As Infinity is now at Ver 2.4.2 as recommended here are the downloads for that version
Ver 2.4.2
Updated:
Botania, Forestry, Thermal Expansion, COFH and Railcraft
Added some textures of my own to Immersive Engineering (Finished all the main machine models), some stuff to Pams Harvestcraft, Ender IO and Storage Drawers. Oh I also adjusted the Interface GUI on Applied Energistics. It needed an extra slot.
Enjoy all

Eh? And it's not in the main AE2 download?

Nope, the mod has moved on to rv3 beta. It's the only thing I saw whilst playing.

I'm confused. Considering AE2 is my patch it'd be nice if I knew what was missing exactly...

Your rv3 Alpha patch works apart from the Interface GUI needs one more slot. The top row has 9 slots now up from 8.
