Torch Texture for 1.16 (Bedrock)
The new Texture for the Torch is unpleasant. It is literally just a stick with some cloth on it. There is nothing to indicate why this stick would be emitting light. The tip should yellow like fire so it looks like it's more than just a stick. Sure theira is the fire particles that appear every 3 seconds, but that's not enough. Most of the time you look at it and it's just a stick. 1/10. Miss the pre 1.16 version.
For some reason the particles that come out of the torches on Bedrock are much slower than on Java Edition, which is why it looks so odd. On Java it's almost a constant appearance of particles.
If it's not something Mojang rectify, we may look at changing the design again.

It's not just the torches. Fire on blocks is the same. Torches seem to look like they're unlit 90% of the time, and only occasionally light up, when you're right on top of them. Fire burning on top of blocks seems to be completely stationary, without animation, unless you're right on top of them. And this is with particle rendering turned to max.
It's not just fire. Any animated block even before 1.16 is unanimated in this Texture Pack unless practically on top of it. Which didn't bother me until they changed the Torch Texture.
Also, not a fan of the new Iron and Gold Nuggets, but they aren't terrible.
I quite like them! D:
I will say, the work they did with the Netherite Armor is gorgeous. It makes me wish there were a setting to hide enchanting glow. The armor looks so much better when you're not shimmering purple (imho)
