the patch does not appear on the list but the regular one does
So that I can try to replicate the problem, please can you let me know:
  • What version of Tekkit 2 you are playing?
  • What resolution of the regular pack do you have?
  • What resolution of the patch pack do you have?

I'm not sure why you're trying to open the .zip file - it goes directly into the resourcepack folder.
But I have checked the file again just now and the checksum matches the original file that I uploaded - I've also just tested this on the latest Tekkit 2 version and it is being detected.

I'm not entirely sure what to suggest, sadly.

The x128 patchpack is around 159MB, if that helps in some way.

Hello, i'm having troubles making this pack work. I have tekkit 2 1.2.2 and i've installed optifine (i disables that line in the cfg file but i don't remember the name lol). When i try to load the pack, i can only load the patch but when i try to load the bdcraft base pack the game falls back to the default one and removes the resource packs. I have assigned 10GB to the game, running on a ryzen 7 3700x, rtx 2080 16gb ram fedora linux. Also using java 8(maybe is this the issue?)

Is it definitely the correct version/type of BD Craft? It should be Pure BDCraft, 1.12.2 and the matching resolution to the patch pack. Check the root post for direct links

Updating Java couldn't hurt! I like having development kit installed too, but maybe that is just a placebo?
Any donations go directly to myself. I am not affiliated with BDcraft.
