Cant backup MinecraftPE because its a locked app.Help?

I cant back up minecraft to install the Pocketbdcraft because Astro says it is a protected app and will be atomatically skipped. How do i unlock it or what is another way to install it? Also im using MinecraftPe 0.7.5 on a Nexus 7.

I am having the same problem. I remember that Root isn't REQUIRED, not that it can't be used. Is there a tutorial on using Root instead?
I am using a Droid Razr.

I'm having same problem as above can't backup because it's locked. Using Samsung Tab 2, mcpe 0.7.5. Can someone help please !

i can back it up, you have to be rooted now. google protects it apps to stop piracy now.

How do you do it with a rooted phone? My phone is rooted but Astro still does not allow me to back up MinecraftPE. Astro does not even ask for su permissions. Is there some special that needs to be done? I could not find any setting in Astro to enable rooted access, either. Is there another application that must be used?
