[128x - 32x] Thaumcraft [MC1.1 - 1.7 & 1.12]
Well, I'm more than happy to help with whatever textures I can. I've recently been putting together a set of 512x Thaumcraft textures, but I lack skills to complete some of the more demanding textures. If anyone decides to take over this project, I'll be happy to help in any way I can!
Guys, I literally have no time on my hands. I have a working Git repository. If anyone really wanted to work on the patch, they would have sent me a pull request or even a pm by now.
Why is this concept of collaborative work so hard I don't know. The only thing you have to do is make a GitHub account, fork my repo and do your magic. Once you think you have done a good job, you send a pull request and I check it out and merge it.
That said though, if anybody else wants write access to the repository AND WANTS TO WORK, send me a pm. I would gladly add you!

If you haven't checked the OP I've taken over the project I just haven't updated in a while because all I'm doing is just making textures, may be slow, but better than nothing. I will try to get a WIP download as soon as I have time.Laruae wrote:Well, I'm more than happy to help with whatever textures I can. I'm back <3
There's instructions on downloading what they have in the github for it, you just zip it yourself and put it in the resource packs folder and you're good to go. My question was more aimed at importing textures from previous versions, like the arcane stone, arcane stone bricks, paving stones of travel, etc. I know my pack for 1.7.10 had some nice textures for them, so I was hoping I could import those, or even upload them to the github and get them added to the pack.DumbOxe wrote:Their was already one made for 1.8 with the previous textures, but the link is broken. Just waiting on the owner of the file to fix it.

Acutally, I'm thinking I may have done something wrong, or this is the kind of reports you guys need for the texture pack. It seems a good number of the items/blocks that are in the pack already aren't registering. Not sure if it's a pathing or naming issue or anything. I'll look into it some more.
Looks like a combination of both. There's a few that are beyond my ability, but I'm fixing what I can. Things like the Arcane Ear seem to have a different structure here than in the original. (original only has 2 things marked arcane_ear, while the texture pack has 7)

That's what I mean about the link being broken to the 1.8 version. Many of the textures have changed names and that isn't reflected on the GitHub. The pack also need the BlockState jsons from TC. Since I feel like it will be a while for the link to be fixed, I made a TC5 version, Not 100% but I think it's pretty close.

Gotcha. I'm wondering though if the link for the 1.8 version that was posted in the forums earlier was a full update, or if it was just the GitHub zipped and uploaded for convenience.DumbOxe wrote:That's what I mean about the link being broken to the 1.8 version. There's been no work on this Thaumcraft patch in a very long time. The previous 1.8 link was just what was on Github rearranged for 1.8.
