What's the filename of the main BDcraft resourcepack you downloaded?

Make sure you've downloaded the correct version of the pack that matches the version of Minecraft you're playing (e.g MC1.7.10 not MC1.17).

GrungeBDcraft currently doesn't texture most of the UI elements. That's one of the main reasons the pack is marked as a Work in Progress.

OptiFine generally has a hard time working with mods, especially if mods do weird things with the rendering.

Please post a link to the modpack or a list of included mods in the modpack as per the Rules.

Suspicious sand (and gravel) is subtle.

However, I did intend to add much more obvious versions to the customiser. I've just not gotten around to it yet.
